What kind of thread do you use?

Woven nylon thread, it looks delicate like silk but is significantly more durable

Are your clasps gold-fill?

Our Rainbow Drops have 14k gold-filled lobster clasps, however the rest of our collections have 14k-18k solid gold clasps

Are the gemstones you use natural?

How long are the Rainbow Drops and Alohi Drops? Does this length include the drop?

17" long, not including the length of the drop — length will vary somewhat depending on size of the gemstone selected

What if I would like my Rainbow Drop or Alohi Drop a longer length?

If not yet purchased, shop from our Keiki selection and specify the length you prefer in a note at checkout
If for a piece already purchased, shop our Clasp Extensions online – great for layering versatility

Do you have a storefront?

We do not have a storefront, however we offer private studio appointments at our home in Kilauea Farms, where we have the most extensive selection including exclusive and high-end pieces only available in studio. If that's of interest, please let us know and we'd be happy to coordinate a day and time with you!

Can I visit your studio?

Yes, we offer private studio viewings for our high-end collections. We're generally available for studio appointments Monday-Thursdays from 1-4.

Do you offer custom work?

"Thank you for your interest in a bespoke piece, Amalia is honored by the opportunity to bring your vision to life. Is there a style from our current collections that you're especially drawn to? And are there any particular gemstones that resonate with you? Please note, we charge a base fee of $150 for our custom designs."
Amalia will do her best to accommodate if we have the materials available – she prefers to use her own materials with reference to a style from one of our current collections
If specifically requesting a custom Rainbow Drop, let them know we don't offer at this time
If for wholesale account, we have a $2,000 minimum

Can I wear my necklace in the water?

It's perfectly safe in natural water, but best practice to keep out of ocean, definitely don't wear in pool, or jacuzzi

How can I clean my pieces? Polish?

Wear them in the shower & gently rinse with mild soap
To polish, simply apply a bit of oil (our favorites are Jojoba or Coconut) and it should appear nice and rejuvenated

Can we reduce the value declared on customs so a customer is charged less?

Do you offer Klarna payments (payment installments)?
