FIRE OPALS
From the highlands of Mexico we bring you fire opals saturated in earth, fire, and water energies. Like traditional opals, fire opals contain a high percentage of water naturally. It is their iron oxide content that colors the fire opals in their rich red hues. Just as the light draws out the prismatic face of the opal, fire opals are often utilized to enhance personal expression, especially in areas of career and creativity, boosting recognition and reputation, as well as drawing out shyness. Spiritually, they lend a grounding quality and may aid the wearer in trusting their instincts, in addition to developing stamina and passion in love and creative pursuits. Leis are a quintessential Hawaiian tradition formed in the stringing of aromatic flower blossoms and local foliage bestowing the spirit of aloha upon the recipient. While these gemstone garlands are visually similar to our mala collection, the number of beads vary as benefits the particular gemstone design and are meant to be worn as a stringed embrace of love, friendship, welcome, appreciation and honor.
Layering:
You can layer Leis with almost any of our collections as their length accommodates most pieces. We particularly like them with our Alohi Drops, and Ali'i collections.
